Mr. Oleksandr Bevz – Member of the Supervisory Board, Representative of the State from the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy
Education:
In 2012, graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, receiving a master's degree in law and a diploma with honours. Oleksandr also studied under the Succession Pool Development Program at the MIM-Kyiv Business School (2020-2021).
Background:
In 2012, he started working at the Sayenko Kharenko law firm, where he participated in more than 50 different projects, in particular regarding M&A agreements, corporate reorganization and restructuring, legal consulting of Ukrainian companies on various corporate issues, mainly in the financial sphere.
Since 2015, Oleksandr Bevz worked in the Licensing Department of the National Bank of Ukraine. From March 2017 to September 2021, he headed the Licensing Department. Oleksandr was a co-leader of projects on reforming the banking and non-banking financial sector, in particular, on transparency of ownership structures in the financial system, SPLIT reform, corporate governance, assessment of managers and owners of financial institutions, the SREP supervisory evaluation system, development of numerous laws and subordinate legislation in the financial sector.
Since May 2022, after the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, Oleksandr joined the team of the Office of the President of Ukraine and became the project manager of the International Working Group on Security Guarantees for Ukraine. The result of the group's work was the Kyiv Security Compact, the principles of which were reflected in the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine, concluded in Vilnius in July 2023 by the leaders of the Group of Seven countries.
From March 2023 until now, Oleksandr has been a freelance adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine on issues of international communications, implementation of the President's Peace Formula, security guarantees for Ukraine, environmental consequences of war and other issues.
In August 2023, was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of "Ukreximbank" JSC.
