Ukreximbank continues developing contactless payments industry by introducing, jointly with Visa, a modern innovative EXIMpay contactless payment application for sales and service networks with the use of a smartphone or a tablet PC.

The new contactless (NFC) EXIMpay service is based on the Host Card Emulation (HCE) technology. The technology emulates a card in the mobile application and stores in a smartphone the “payment information” usually stored in a plastic card chip. Due to such a solution, the customers do not have to have a bank card available, since all the payment functions are offered by a mobile device.

On September 30, 2016, first successful smartphone transactions were performed in Ukraine and abroad, and in November, the service will be available to all customers of the Bank.
