On 11 October 2021 during the extraordinary meeting of the Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board of JSC “Ukreximbank” on possible measures (taking into account the work of the Ethics Commission and the Status of the Internal Investigation), the notice was received from Mr. Metzger dated 11 October 2021 on termination of fixed-term employment contract on his own initiative. The Nomination Committee, accordingly, issued an immediate recommendation to the Supervisory Board to terminate his powers from 11 October 2021 on the basis of part 1 of Article 39 of the Labor Code of Ukraine and the relevant clause of the employment contract with Mr. Metzger. Termination of the employment contract based on abovementioned grounds does not require the payment of severance payment.

Due to dismissal of the Chairman of the Management Board, the Nomination Committee of the Supervisory Board appointed Mr. Iermakov as Acting Chairman of the Management Board of the Bank from 12 October 2021 by the date of appointment of the Chairman of the Management Board to be selected by the Supervisory Board according to the competitive selection not later than 12 April 2022.
