Since the beginning of the year, the Bank's profit has amounted to UAH 1.2 billion.
The Bank's profitability is the result of the country's economy support. The loan portfolio is the largest in the banking system of Ukraine and amounts to UAH 118 billion. Despite the full-scale war, the level of loan servicing by customers remains at the adequate level, which indicates the quality of the portfolio, understanding of current business models and efficient dialogue with borrowers. In addition, the Bank maintains a leading position in the foreign currency purchase/sale market, which is confirmed by the earnings for the specified period of about UAH 184 million.
The bank has a strong liquidity position. This allowed Exim to repay NBU refinancing loans ahead of schedule from the beginning of the year for more than UAH 13 billion. Further optimization of the balance sheet structure provides for the full repayment of debt under NBU refinancing loans in the first half of 2023, which will have a positive impact on the efficiency of the Bank's operation.
The Bank's priorities remain unchanged:
“The goal of 2023 is to support the real sector of economy and develop further relations with international financial institutions, in particular for the purpose of post-war reconstruction. Digitization and improvement of operational processes are in the focus of our attention - thus, in the near future we will have the pleasure of offering our customers a more technological and significantly simplified mechanism for providing pre-export and post-import financing”, - said Sergii Iermakov, Chairman of the Management Board of Ukreximbank.
