On 28 October, Fitch Ratings affirmed the National Long-Term Rating of the Ukreximbank at AA (ukr) with a Stable Outlook. This action follows the recalibration of Ukraine's national rating scale after the upgrade of the country's Long-Term Local-Currency Issuer Default Rating (LTLC IDR).
Additional information
At the end of September 2024, Fitch Ratings has upgraded Ukreximbank's Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating (LTFC IDR) to ‘CCC’ and its Long-Term Local-Currency Issuer Default Rating (LTLC IDR) to ‘CCC+’. The bank's Viability Ratings (VR) has been affirmed at ‘f’.
Ukreximbank maintains sufficient liquidity to meet its short-term obligations, which supports LTFC IDR and LTLC IDR ratings above the current VR. The rating review follows the upgrade of Ukraine's LTLC IDR following the completion of its Eurobond restructuring.
